Post WWII Original Swiss Army Breadbag, Mess Kit, Canteen with Cup and Spork Set. Salt and Pepper Style Canvas Bag made by the R. Mathis Saddlery based in Basel, Canton Basel in 1952. Bag show some use and wear, stains, stitching in good order, leather parts are soft and supple. Comes along with a white linen bag which was used to store bread and the spork. The Design of the Swiss Army Mess Kit aka "Gamelle", officially named "Einzelkochgeschirr Ordonnanz 1898", was approved 02.07.1898 by the Swiss War Department and has slightly changed since then.

The kidney shaped mess kit was made of aluminum and could hold 2.0 Liter of Food. The lid could be used as a pan and stuck in to the mess kit for cocking.

At the beginning the mess kits were lacquered black. After 1920 they were lacquered green. In 1943 all mess kits, canteens, helmets were over painted grey. In 1989 a additional pan, made out of aluminum, was issued to the troops.
Ransport handle could be swiveled 360 ° until 1990, after 1990 only up to 270 °. This Swiss Army Mess Kit was made by "SIGG" in 1980, the Lid was made by "SIGG" in 1973. The mess kit show some use and wear (Paint loss, dent, scratches, surface rust, discoloration from heat exposure) as shown and has the 360° transport handle which is slightly bend. The Design of the M32 Swiss Army Canteen was approved 18.06.1932 by the Swiss War Department and was slightly changed in the Post WWII years. This Swiss Army Canteen was made by "BAG" in 1951 according to the stamping, Cup made by "JE" in 1977 according to the stamping. The Canteen and Cup can hold 0.64 Liter each and are made out of aluminum. The canteens were olive until 1943 when the War Department called back all canteens, mess kits and helmets and painted them grey. Post WWII canteens were black.
The cup have folding handles, only Post WWII cups have this feature. Canteen and Cup show some use and wear (dents, paint loss, scratches). Essbesteck, Spoon+Fork Combo Model 1950, made out of inox in 1957 by Gröninger.
