ORIGINAL POST WWII KOREAN WAR US ARMY M1945 COMBAT FIELD PACK & SUSPENDERS SET.   

   Army 2nd Armored Division "Ike" Waist Jacket is in incredible condition. I thought because of the condition was a much later era or a replica... But it is a 1946 issue jacket, so this would have been issued after the end of the war most likely to occupation troops, or as a replacement jacket to a veteran. In the inside pocket there was an original field cap, collar discs, and a photograph of what is most likely the sergeant who was issued this gear. I cannot verify this, but all items were found in the pockets of this jacket, but no way to follow up, investigate orverify ...

ORIGINAL POST WWII US ARMY M1938 DISMOUNTED INFANTRY RAIN JACKET.   

Post WWII US Ike Uniform. There are a few small moth holes in the jacket's left shoulder and in the neck. The bottom button of the jacket is missing. The pants have a few mall moth holes in the thighs and hips. Please look through photos to get a good idea of over all condition. It is labeled as a size 34 short and fits true to size. This is on the smaller side of a men's small. Shoulder to Shoulder: 17.5. Waist: 14.5 (Seam Allowance: 2.25). Inseam: 28.5" (Seam Allowance: 1.5").   

Chest pit to pit 21 inches, back length 21 inches.

Post WWII Original Swiss Army Modell 1958 leather Medic / Paramedic Bag, Sanitätstasche 1958. Leather bag was made by the "Hans von Aesch" Saddlery which is based in Kosthofen, Canton Bern in 1966. Y-Strap was made in 1962 by the W. Nussbaumer Saddlery, based in Buchegg, Canton Solothurn. Leather is hard and stiff, stitching in good order, some use and wear, stains, scratches as shown. One we have never seen before! Post WWII Army recruitment poster from 1948. A man's job, US Army. Poster not printed in war time were printed in much smaller quantities, making them very hard to find. This one is new to us! Condition- two small tears at bottom repaired with acid free archival tape on verso. Not affecting image at all.
