Very rare WWII British military army. Field surgeons amputation bone saw medical instrument. Marked with war office stamp - a broad arrow- and maker's mark'Garlick, Sheffield'. The broad arrow is a symbol used by the British government to mark government property. It is particularly associated with the Board of Ordnance and later the War department.
