Original WWII Japanese Army tropical under-shirt / Bousho Juban for hot-weather and southern theater use. This is a late-war example dated Showa 20 (1945), size Medium, with Osaka Depot inspection and Tokushima supply markings. Made from lightweight khaki cotton with a short body, three-quarter-length sleeves, two buttoned chest pockets, and buttoned side vents under the arms. The collar is made from a slightly heavier green cotton fabric.
