   ORIGINAL WW2 ITALIAN ARMY CARCANO M91/97 BAYONET, MAKER STAMPED AND 1943 DATED, NO SCABBARD. VERY NICE FULL SIZE CARCANO RIFLE BAYONET WITH WOOD GRIPS AND UNCLEANED STEEL BLADE. ONE SIDE OF THE BLADE IS MAKER STAMPED R. C" AND METAL CROSS GUARD IS NUMBERED TO ONE SIDE "RB2428" AND "PS1943 DATED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CROSS GUARD. (SEE ABOVE PHOTOS FOR DETAILS). BAYONET MEASURES 16-1/4'' IN TOTAL LENGTH, BLADE MEASURES 11-3/4'' IN LENGTH. Ww2 Italian Army 1938 Modified Carcano Folding Bayonet & Scabbard Fighting Knife

  Offered is a WW2 era modified Italian M38 Caracano'folding' bayonet with scabbard. Bayonet features a steel pommel with working external release button, with screw in wooden grips and metal guard & muzzle ring. The top metal sleeve is stamped L 42003. Franchi made The 18 cm long steel blade shows the blood groove to each side of the blade, with the blade being factory sharpened, being in generally very good condition overall. Standard WW2 type blued metal scabbard, retaining metal belt stud. This was originally a'folding' type fighting knife, converted for use as a fixed blade bayonet....
