Up for sale is an incredibly preserved piece of WWII history-an original German military medical first aid box (Verbandkasten). This is an authentic, untouched attic find discovered in an old house here in Courland (Latvia), right from the historic area where Army Group North made its final stand. The condition of this field gear item is truly exceptional. It retains its original field-grey (feldgrau) exterior paint with a clearly visible red cross and "Verbandkasten" stencil text.

What makes this piece stand out is the interior: the original protective wooden lining is fully intact, showing beautiful warm color and clean surfaces. Even more amazing, the original paper contents list (Inhaltsverzeichnis) under the lid is beautifully preserved and fully readable, clearly showing the 1939 regulations print.

Mechanically, the box is perfect. All heavy-duty latches, hinges, and the side carry handle function exactly as they should, without being frozen or heavily rusted. The only thing missing is the small internal divider web, which was removed long ago, but otherwise, the box is completely solid and solid.

No modern repaints, no hidden repairs. A textbook, battle-proven relic with solid Baltic provenance that will instantly become a centerpiece in any Wehrmacht combat or vehicle display.
