   Up for sale is an incredibly preserved piece of WWII history-an original German military medical first aid box (Verbandkasten). This is an authentic, untouched attic find discovered in an old house here in Courland (Latvia), right from the historic area where Army Group North made its final stand. The condition of this field gear item is truly exceptional. It retains its original field-grey (feldgrau) exterior paint with a clearly visible red cross and "Verbandkasten" stencil text. US Ike Jacket - 1st Army First Sergeant. Condition: Excellent, with no missing or broken buttons, tears/rips, mothing, or even small holes. However, there is a spot on the inside left shoulder where some of the stitching is loose/missing (see pictures). Other than this, there are no issues with the jacket. This jacket is the M-1944 Ike jacket, and is dated December 1945 on the inside pocket tag. The patches indicate it would have been worn by a First Sergeant of the First Army. 1944 Dated WWII US Army First Army Artillery Ike Jacket with a nice 1st Army Red A Patch, Good Conduct and Campaign Ribbons with Campaign Star and Landing Arrow, and collar discs. Has an olive pocket hankerchief included that was found in the inner pocket.

Features include original MP (Military Police) crossed-pistols collar brass, a Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), and full ribbon bar with EAME Campaign (1 battle star), American Campaign, Good Conduct, WWII Victory, and Army of Occupation medals.
