This is an outstanding original WWII U. Army "Ike" field jacket, dated December 21, 1944, and manufactured by Sigmund Eisner Co.

The jacket is marked size 36S and constructed in regulation olive drab wool serge. It features the rank of Technician Fourth Grade (Tec 4) and is adorned with the distinct "AA" shoulder sleeve insignia of the U. Army Anti-Aircraft Command on the right arm and the patch of the Western Pacific Base Command on the left shoulder-both period-applied and consistent with confirmed service in the Pacific Theater. Additional features include artillery branch collar disks, a rare yellow technical training patch above the left pocket, four overseas service bars (indicating two years of foreign service), and a wound stripe on the lower right sleeve. The ribbon bar includes the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two campaign stars, and the WWII Victory Medal-clearly reflecting active participation in at least two combat campaigns in the Pacific. All insignia appear to be original to the garment, with stitching, wear, and placement consistent with wartime application. This is an original historical artifact from the Second World War era, and therefore shows natural wear and tear resulting from age and regular use during the period. What you see in the pictures is actual item you will get. (obviously except the mannequin and accessories for display).

If you are a collector of military items or a WWII history enthusiast, it's worth checking out my other listings for original military pieces and period antiques! Mistakes very rarely occur - however if one does please rest assured that it will be corrected.
