Offered here tonight is a World War II U. Army Nurse Corps Seersucker Outfit - Shirt Pants and Cap. The Seersucker outfit is part of an extensive collection of items from the estate of Ardis Stella (Nelson) McAfee (June 28 1916 - June 22 2016). WWII SEERSUCKER UNIFORM Army Nurse Corps Shirt Pants Hat ANC Original RARE HTF. She joined the Army Nurse Corps during WW2 in 1943, previously was a nurse in St. Ardis was part of the 54th General Hospital Unit serving in New Guinea and the Philippines. Ardis married Captain George D. McAfee MD; the Son of Brigadier General Larry B. McAfee on June 15 1946. The Seersucker uniform is part of her estate from Eau Claire Wisconsin. There are some rust spots on the uniform and cap as can be seen in the photos. Please note that the bottom button is missing on the Shirt as can be seen in the photos.
