Wwii Us Army Officer Jacket & Breeches West Point & 2nd Army Pathes Named

Original WWII US Army Officer's service uniform grouping, consisting of a dark OD wool officer's service coat with matching West Point Cadet Store riding breeches (dated 1939). The tunic is manufactured by Geo. Philadelphia, with contract label dated October 1st, 1935, and retains full insignia: colonel rank eagles on shoulders, crossed cannons for Field Artillery branch, U. Officer collar insignia, a striking large bullion Great Seal chest badge on red felt, and two ribbon bars - World War I Victory Medal with bronze star device and American Defense Service Medal. Both the 2nd Army shoulder patch and the West Point insignia disc remain intact, highlighting the officer's career path and dual connection to the academy and continental command structure. This is a rare and complete named set, identified to an officer who was a WWI veteran and continued service into WWII, very likely in training or staff capacity with the 2nd Army. The breeches retain the West Point Cadet Store label, showing clear academy provenance, and both pieces match in condition and period. The breeches are reinforced with leather inner panels, typical of officer's riding trousers. 31 inches of circumference, inseam about 35 inches overall length.
15 inches shoulder to shoulder, 24 inches sleeve length, and 33 inches overall length from collar to hem. An outstanding early WWII officer's grouping directly connected to West Point, offering both strong display presence and historical value. This is an original historical artifact from the Second World War era, and therefore shows natural wear and tear resulting from age and regular use during the period. What you see in the pictures is actual item you will get.
