Offered is a complete vintage U. Army enlisted uniform set consisting of. Service coat (4-pocket, brass buttons). The uniform displays original insignia and period construction consistent with WWII-era U.
The coat interior is marked with the name "Roy Nixon" along with service information (see photo). Researching the named soldier may enhance provenance. Even though it's faded, can clearly see. That construction and tag style are WWII era Quartermaster Corps, not modern repro. The 6th Infantry Division was.
Served primarily in the Pacific Theater. Fought in New Guinea and Luzon (Philippines).
The red scimitar represents readiness for combat. The white star = the division's "Red Star" nickname. Good vintage condition consistent with age and service wear. No major structural damage observed. Some typical storage wear and minor fabric aging present.
