Original Imperial Japanese Army Type 5 Uniform Aomori 5th Infantry Regiment Officer. An original Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) Type 5 uniform set for an infantry officer. The uniform features the infantry branch collar insignia and the regimental number insignia "5" for the Aomori 5th Infantry Regiment.
The regimental number insignia is originally attached / in its original placement, making this an interesting example for collectors interested in unit-specific Japanese military uniforms. The Second Lieutenant shoulder boards are later additions, not original to the uniform. There are stains, marks, wear, and other signs of age and use. Please carefully examine all photographs for the actual condition.
