Original Early WWII Imperial Japanese Army Officers Cap. Excellent condition with the exception of some surface soiling from age. The white linen cloth interior and sweat band are also in great shape.
The Kanji stamp translates to: Size 5 / Showa 16 (1941) / Hiroshima Military Clothing Factory. This cap does not appear to have been ever issued. The Hiroshima Military Clothing Factory was not destroyed during the WWII bombings.
