Original Wwii Army

Original post-WWII 1950s Major's M1 helmet set. Both the shell and liner have affixed metal insignia, not decals. The shell is a late-50s manufacture with the common dark shiny repaint. The liner is a 1952 dated Westinghouse Micarta liner, with WWII nape strap and late-50s raw edge duck cloth sweatband. Good condition with some minor dents and paint loss. Great example of an officer's helmet used between the Korean and Vietnam wars. International buyers: Do NOT ask me to lie on custom's forms.   

Original WWII transitional Westinghouse M1 helmet liner with the folded nape webbing, with hand-painted MP and 187 marking, white band and name inside. There is an overpainted decal'P' from a previous MP marking as well. This liner was used into the Korean War given the multiple repaints and Korean War sweatband. Overall a nice example of an MP liner. Decent condition with some paint loss and corrosion on the metal rivets. International buyers: Do NOT ask me to lie on custom's forms.

Completely restored M-1 Fixed Bale/Front Seam WW2 US helmet complete with a Westinghouse Rayon webbed liner with fixed chin strap. This helmet has been carefully restored with colour matched Ultra Matt/ Lusterless OD. It is an original Fixed bale helmet, NOT converted. Cork textured to the QM specs, and correctly Bar Tacked with the finest Brass Cast reproduction chin straps made in the US by world renowned J Murray.    Die Helmglocke ist eine original Kriegs- oder frühe Nachkriegsproduktion. Bei Kriegsproduktionen verlief die Umbördelung vorne auf Stoß. Bei späteren Kriegsproduktionen und allen Nachkriegsproduktionen hinten, jedoch gabe es auch schon zu Kriegszeiten diese Produktionsweise. Der Helm weist noch die original US WK 2 Lackierung auf mit dem Rauhtarn aus Kork und im typischen olive drab.
