Original vintage 1940s WWII 1944 Women's US Army M-1943 field jacket that belonged to US Army Nurse Corps Captain Helen Kerber of the 121st Evac Hospital during Vietnam War in the 1960s. Marked size 12R - shown on a women's size small mannequin.
Fits more like a modern women's small / medium. JACKETS, FIELD, M-1945 WOMEN'S. Four front button flap pockets with insert pocket / top breast pockets are faux. Two button cuffs with wind shield. Jacket features US Army tape..
Two metal Captain shoulder insignias.. Looks like she may have worn this once..
