Original Wwii Army

This is an original WWII US Army Air Force Ike Jacket, featuring the patches of the legendary 8th Air Force and 20th Air Force, both instrumental in the Allied victory during World War II. The 8th Air Force, known as the "Mighty Eighth, " conducted strategic bombing missions over Nazi-occupied Europe, while the 20th Air Force played a pivotal role in the Pacific Theater, including the B-29 Superfortress bombing campaigns against Japan. The jacket is adorned with a ribbon bar showcasing the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal (with three Bronze Star citations for campaign participation), WWII Victory Medal, American Defense Medal, and American Campaign Medal, reflecting the extraordinary service of its original owner. Additional features include Staff Sergeant chevrons, a rupture duck insignia (indicating honorable discharge), and it is named, offering an exciting opportunity for further research.
