Original WWII-era Japanese Imperial Army command saber with an attached flag. This is an authentic original item from the period and is a particularly rare example featuring the flag.
The saber shows age-related wear and deterioration consistent with its age, but overall remains in fairly good condition. The area shown in Photo 9 appears to have been painted silver. Please examine the photos carefully for details of the condition. IMPORTANT: This is a command/parade saber designed to carry a flag and does NOT have a blade. It is not a functional sword.
