This is one of the many commercial hunting knives that were pressed into service during WWII to help meet the demand for fighting knives. The blade is 6" long with an overall length of 10 1/2". Bayonet features nickel guard and birds-head pommel with working release button, hand carved deer horn grips secured with steel pins.
