   Original WWII British Army Service Dress tunic to a Colonel of The Green Howards (Princess of Wales's Own Yorkshire Regiment). Rank insignia: Crown with two Bath stars (Colonel), present on both shoulders. Regimental insignia: The Green Howards. War Medal 1939-45 with oak leaf (Mentioned in Despatches). The tailor's label bears a handwritten officer's name; however, it is now too faint to confidently read. The name remains present and may be decipherable by a dedicated researcher. This is a nice ORIGINAL WW2 British Army Uniform. It is a machine gunner battledress for the 32nd Guards Infantry Support Group, Northumberland Fusiliers who saw combat in Normandy and France from 9/18/43 to 3/12/44. Condition is seen in the pictures. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you will receive. Quarter (if in the pictures) is not included, is only in the pictures for size reference.
