This is a sturdy field telephone in a heavy olive drab canvas case with carrying strap. There is an operating hand crank on the side of the telephone. The wiring is old and brittle. Some of the lashing / webbing is broken from age / rot. Lashing is twine and an organic material; subject to weakening with age.
