Wwii Us Army Enlisted Ike Jacket 1st Cavalry Division Dated & Named
This is an original WWII U. Army "Ike" field jacket in size 36 Regular, produced by Louis Goldsmith, Inc. Under contract dated April 11, 1945. The jacket features a complete and matching set of insignia, including the rare caduceus lapel disk and pin of the Medical Corps, the shoulder patch of the famed 1st Cavalry Division (the "First Team"), Technician 4th Grade chevrons, and a beautiful enamel DUI pin attributed to the 801st Medical Air Evacuation Squadron.
Above the pocket is a single ribbon bar showing awards for Good Conduct, American Campaign, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, and WWII Victory. The wool is in excellent condition with minimal wear, retaining its original olive drab tone and brown bakelite buttons. Interior label is clear and intact, confirming WWII-period production at the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot. A true combat medic's uniform from the Pacific Theater - untouched, unmessed-with, and 100% original. This is an original historical artifact from the Second World War era, and therefore shows natural wear and tear resulting from age and regular use during the period. What you see in the pictures is actual item you will get. (obviously except the mannequin and accessories for display).
