   Up for sale original vintage WW2 U. ARMY AIRBORNE M42 TROUSERS WITH REINFORCED POCKETS AND KNEE AREA. They are made from 8 oz. Cotton twill cloth, in khaki colour. The pair features button fly, hip, seat and cargo pockets and slightly tapered ankles to make it easier to tuck them into the jump boots. These jump suits were gradually phased out and replaced by the M43 uniforms, however, these remained popular and the choice of many serving in Airborne units through to the end of the WW2.    This is an example of a Japanese Army Officer Sword in Civilian Mount that dates from the World War 2 Era. It is mounted with a Shin Shinto Era blade that wears a cutting edge of 27 1/4 inches in length. The blade has a couple of nicks to the cutting edge but could be remedied in the right hands as well as has some surface blemishes and the unsigned tang wears one hole.
