This is a very nice World War II U. Army Air Corps Distinguished Flying Cross in its titled black leatherette presentation case that is in excellent condition. The bronze planchet is with a smooth and even finish on both the obverse and reverse sides. It is suspended from its original ribbon, which is strong, solid and with vibrant color. The cross is mounted on the correct World War II style slot broach with its complete with functional pin and roller locking catch assemblies on the back. For your consideration a vintage 1940's leather helmet. Leather is still pliable and has not been cleaned or oiled. Found in the estate of a WWII veteran. Please examine pictures for condition.   

Please note that there are significant conditional issues. The sleeves have been cut off. A couple holes, including a good size 3 corner tear in one leg. One button at the bottom of leg is broken.
