It has been stored in a glass case, but due to its age, it has some wear. It is quite rare to find it in its original condition, with the rank and other details intact. Found together in box at an estate so it's likely that it was all related to solider in frame. You get all that is pictured! Please see pictures as they are part of the description. WW2 US Army 2nd Engineers (Combat) this is a nice one from my collection. Look at all the pictures, Clean no mothing issues I see, Pants are size W31 x 35L. Early 1940 dated jacket, pants are late WW2. Nice insiginia, screwback distictive insigina. Jacket has early rear belt hooks. Looks to be issued a few times. Read the history of the battalion. He has four battle stars. No history on the previous owner. Fifty years ago collectors didnt ask? There were a few Belgian orders as well. One for Elsenborn Ridge, and the Ardennes. A true historical piece from World War II: this coat is made of wool and was used by U. Army officers during World War II. It features the classic olive drab (OD Green) color and has a red star patch on the side shoulder. Only one button is broken on the front of the jacket, on the last button. It's easy to get and fix. The dimensions can be seen in the photo; please review them to confirm the measurements.
