Original 1940's WWII US Army Air Force Pilot's Type B-5 Leather Flying Helmet. Made a brown leather with metal hooks for the A-9 and A-10 oxygen mask, also has leather loops for the goggles. Inside is wool lined and has cloth tag mark type B5 DWG. 20790 also has tag marked Extra Large. Overall shows some light wear and age but looks unusually good for as old as it is. Size 36R The jacket have holes, tears and repairs. The zipper works good but it has 2inc tear from bottom. Both of the sleeves at the cuffs have a patch covering it, so the tear does not get bigger you can take it out so easy. The patch Leather is extremely worn and I don't know what it is? These large sized posters of Flying Fortress/Studebaker ads were commissioned by Studebaker in 1944. These were displayed in Studebaker factories promoting their WWII efforts.
