Original Wwii Army

Stanley Wade's briefcase and papers spanning from enlistment through to his post-military, civil service career. Briefcase contents come in at over 6 pounds (including folios). Scrap of paper with Vultee XP-54 airplane sketch is dated July 10, 1942, prior to the date that the internet provides for its first flight :. His career spans from enlisting in the Air Reserve, to enlisting in the Air Corps where he served in both WWII and Korea, to his transition to civil service primarily at Vandenberg Air Force (now Space Force) Base. Briefcase is in solid, used condition.

Original WWII US Army Air Force Pilot 3 Wings AmCraft Snowflake Back. Very nice original US Army Air Forces badge. Original with 90° pin-back with safety-catch. Reverse is patterned with the snowflake pattern of AmCraft of Attleboro, Mass and marked with the maker name. Made in silvered bronze with high polish details on the front with matte finish. Army Air Forces M-1944 goggles. Introduced in 1943, they were widely used byUS pilots and air crews throughout the end of WWII and into the KoreanWar. This design was notable forfeaturing a single, shatter-proof lens and a molded rubber frame. Goggles and extra lens are in very good condition. The box shows exterior signs of wear (seephotos), the interior is in good condition.
