   This is a good example of a War Time Era Japanese Sword carried by an Army Officer during World War II. It is mounted with an ancestral grooved KOTO blade that wears a cutting edge that measures 21 inches in length. The blade has survived in nice condition with only minor surface blemishes and continues to boast a lovely wavy temper line that extends to the tip on either side. Japanese Army Shin Gunto Officer Sword Arsenal Grooved Blade Ww2 Surrender Tag

   This is an extremely nice and well made example of an Arsenal made Japanese Army Shin Gunto Officer's Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a beautiful grooved, arsenal machine made blade that measures 26 inches in length which has survived in superb original condition with only some minor surface blemishes. All the fittings and hilt wrapping also remain in nice clean condition reflecting just a tiny bit of light wear to the wrapping.
