   Up for consideration is a pair of WWII WW2 M1917 U. These appear to be original (not reproduction) field pants. In pre-owned but good condition for their age. They do have some imperfections (see photos) They appear to have been manufactured by Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot with an inspection date of Sep. They have markings on the inside of the fly which read "S315XX3AM" and "F315XX24AM" If anyone has any information on what these mean please send us a message.
