Pretty cool WWII lot to a Air Tower operator who worked as bases stateside. Visor cap almost seems like a crusher, but visor doesn't seem to bend, visor is also coming detached from the cap (see photos). Album as some cool photos of him working in the tower and around the air field, and planes etc. Photos are taken state side on the base. There are a few photos that seem to be overseas maybe like 4 or so, but I believe they were sent by a relative. WWII US Army Soldiers Photo Album. There are 185 photos in the album and several blank pages with photos removed, but there are still great photos in the album. He must have been part of an armored division as there are several photos of Sherman tanks and armored vehicles.   

   WWII Veteran Army Photographer's Original Album Page with notes and vintage pictures of Japanese Unconditional Surrender delegation in Manila Philippines 1945! This is from a US Army Photographer Veteran's photo album. He eventually resided in the Central Coast of California in Santa Maria. We do not know if he took any of these pictures, but his writing on the back of one picture states that he walked past at the time the picture was taken! There are 273 photos, including two colorized photos, one of a nice Harley Davidson RL or VL, a nice selection of RPPCs covering US Army Engineers in the field and gunnery operations. Photos of wildlife, such as sharks, alligators, snakes, and other wildlife can be seen in the album as well as a couple 11th Engineer basketball team photos. The last few pages have some gruesome Chinese capital punishment photos that show be-headings and hangings. Overall this is a very rare and nicely compiled photo alum for the US Army 11th Engineers. Condition of album is heavily worn and torn. Not all pages are full. Many contain notes of scenes and stamps. Photo album 15" in X 10.5" in. Photos approx 4 1 /2" X 3".
