Scarce Medical Department contracted example in unissued condition as used in hospitals and Army posts in Conus and overseas during WWII and for decades after. End flap stamped MD STANDARD. Contract stamp inside of end flap reads. New Old Stock 1942 contract mattress cover removed from the original packing crate. Unfolded for photos for the first time since WWII.
