   Army Overcoat Hooded Parka & Brown Pile Liner Size 40 OD. Excellent pile liner WWII Brown type. The buckle for the belt has a raised bar and is made of an iron alloy. If you look at the war production of helmet parts, these were produced from July 1943 to May 1944. The fabric is in very good condition with no holes. OD color is very good with no yellowed sun marks. The front lower snaps could be used to gather hem around the legs. The snaps on the hood could be used to reduce it is size. Clean issue more likely set in surplus because it has no printed patches and basic. It does look used with a few little distressed markings and touchups. May even be good to take it to the cleaners before you wear it, but it is in great condition. Best recommendation is that you view pictures for condition and measurements. The outside there are zero defects. There is some defect on the inside liner. It is on the bottom front and sleeve possibly stain, dirt? Super heavy and extremely warm! It's my opinion that it's an oversized small.
