   ORIGINAL WWII ERA LIFE VEST FROM USS USAT GENERAL M L HERSEY TROOP TRANSPORT IN ARMY GREEN. The stencil markings on the back read U. There is a faint date of 1946 on the life vest as well and some other places I saw some stampings but its faint to read. I made NO attempt to clean this up in any way.
