Set includes the 1938 style (though it has a different number of buttons on the front) white dress tunic top and general striped wool trousers. The shoulders bear two beautifully aged, gold bullion Officer's epaulettes which are matching. They are of the screw down type.    ORIGINAL WWII ERA LIFE VEST FROM USS USAT GENERAL M L HERSEY TROOP TRANSPORT IN ARMY GREEN. The stencil markings on the back read U. There is a faint date of 1946 on the life vest as well and some other places I saw some stampings but its faint to read. I made NO attempt to clean this up in any way.
