   This is an example of a Japanese Army Officer Sword in Civilian Mount that dates from the World War 2 Era. It is mounted with a Shin Shinto Era blade that wears a cutting edge of 27 1/4 inches in length. The blade has a couple of nicks to the cutting edge but could be remedied in the right hands as well as has some surface blemishes and the unsigned tang wears one hole.
