This is an original poster from the estate of Ruth Von Euw, originally from the personal collection of her father, Stephen Von Euw, who had been the editor of the Rockville (CT) Journal from the 1930s until his death in 1955. During World War II, Von Euw had made sure that every local serviceman and servicewomen received free copies of the newspaper wherever they were posted. Very nice original small size army boots US size 7-8 outer sole 11 1/4 inches long. It has some kind of toe caps, not steel caps but likely hardened leather caps which make it look quite nice. I believe this is original army boots for Non-commission Officiers, not post war reproduction markets from Russia. Because it is not in mint condition but good overall used condition still very wearable for re-enactment occasions. Leather is a bit stiff, need a good shine and wipe of dust from my crawlspace.
