   Up for sale is an Original WW2 USGI U. Army / USMC Black Enamel Porcelain Canteen dated 1942. Overall this item is in very good used condition; exhibiting only minor wear and some natural aging. Some damage to the cap (pictured) but it still screws on properly and the chain from the cap to the Canteen is still perfectly intact. Over 90% of the black enamel porcelain finish is still intact, with a few small rust spots visible (pictured).    I had these for over 40 years and used them back in the day. These do work and send a ring signal. As of anything this old it gets cranky and it's rings then other times it takes its good old time. The leather cases are in good condition other than the straps which are broken. I can say the phones work but due to the age I can't guarantee it also. Great collection and conversation pieces. Uses 2 D batteries to operate (not included).    This is listing is for a WWII era military police armband or brassard with a 79th infantry Cross of Lorraine patch. The armband is made of black wool felt and has white felt MP letters machine sewn on the felt and a blue and white 79th infantry patch that was hand sewn to the piece.
