This is an original World War II U. Army officer's personal grouping belonging to Captain Frank H. Sterling silver ID bracelet engraved. Pair of brass Captain's bars (rank insignia). Brass officer lapel insignia pins. Background (brief historical context): I believe Frank H. Burrow was a Purdue University graduate (Class of 1941) from the Midwest, later associated with Topeka, Kansas. He served in the U. Army during World War II, with newspaper accounts placing him in the South Pacific theater by late 1943. The bracelet's engraving reflects his promotion to Captain during wartime service. ...
