   Howard Keith Burney who was a B17 bomber pilot in late WWII with the 97th Bomb Group. The sale was here in Lincoln, but the history I have on the vet shows that he was from Harington NE and served in the USAAF from Feb 8, 1944 - May 18, 1947. According to the pages he marked in the unit history (Pg 210-224) he flew 19 missions before he was injured on Feb. 27, 1945 by flak that shattered the plexiglass windshield of his aircraft.
