The Corps of Engineers emblem in brass is riveted to the center of the parachute. An excellent, authentic, and rare badge. Also, might be a small shop that custom made the badge for an engineer. In World War II, the U. Army had two established Airborne Engineer Battalions: the 307th and the 127th. The 307th was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, while the 127th was the second to be activated. ...
