   Original WWII women's officer's uniform overcoat liner. The liners were often taken out of the overcoat and used as housecoats in barracks by WACs. Bust - 37" Waist - 37" Hips - 41" Length - 37 1/2". You should to be able to wear your uniform underneath, so take that into account with the measurements. Marked size 10S (check above measurements). Legible tag in the pocket. Overall good condition with some issues. There is some staining - mainly on the collar and the front and inside trim.    For sale here is a 1939 Johns & Pegg overcoat. Its a strange one in that it seems to mix the classic greatcoat with a British warm in terms of style and materials. The outer fabric is a heavy but soft serge of the best quality and the linings are a mix of twill and sand wool blanket. A really superb and very unusual item. A 38 reg traditionally although you could call it a 40 with a light under layer. Very good, there is a bit of wear on one of the armpits, a small hole on the left inner lining and the button holes could do with a few stitches to reinforce the edges but actually ...
