Condition is excellent save for a few solid field repairs to stress areas done in matching poplin cotton, some minor faded age marks and tiny imperfections/picks here and there, knits are in really good shape as is the interior. This is a very nice and very rare NOS M-4 gunners flack helmet. This was used by WWII bomber crews and replaces the steel pot style flack helmets. It is designed to fit over a soft flight helmet with the head phones. This has a little storage wear and will need a little dusting off. The leather is in excellent condition.
