Original Wwii Army

Original 1940s US Army WWII Wool Overcoat, lined with eagle buttons and rank patches, Size 42R. Heavy Melton Wool Overcoat with brass eagle buttons, rank patches, back belt with brass eagle buttons, shoulder epaulettes. Estate Vintage Item in Very good Condition. Clean and ready to wear. Army M-1943 Field Jacket 36R 55-J-191-40. Has WEAR AS SHOWN, but OVERALL NICE SHAPE, VERY WEARABLE, NO MAJOR ISSUES.   

Good but used vintage condition. The lower right pocket button is missing, both cuffs are missing a button, the edges of the fabric are worn, and there is a hole in the center back. Please look through photos to get a good idea of over all condition. It is labeled as a size 34 R, which is in the range of a size small. It fits a little larger- more like a size 36 or even 38, which is a smaller medium. Shoulder to Shoulder: 19.5.

We bought this as a complete uniform for my 102 year old WWII veteran father but alas, it was the wrong size. This is the genuine article. Dress pleated trousers, 34 waist 32 inseam approximately (unmarked). Wool field shirt (with some moth holes in it) approximately 14½-32. With the exception of the tie Cotton? , all appear to be wool. Trousers seem to be essentially new. Jacket was definitely used, as it has a name in it. Shirt and tie are used and in good shape except for the moth holes. Not sure how old this is, maybe 40s, maybe 50s. Definitely old and rips in the parts where you can see rips. Might be signs of dry rot. WWII HBT jacket with 13 star buttons and US Army branch tape and patches (American 2nd infantry division patch). Tag Size: N/APit to Pit: 22"Length: 30". Condition: Good vintage condition overall. Small stains, holes, and areas of mending across the front, back, and sleeve.
