   Up for sale original vintage WW2 U. ARMY AIRBORNE M42 TROUSERS WITH REINFORCED POCKETS AND KNEE AREA. They are made from 8 oz. Cotton twill cloth, in khaki colour. The pair features button fly, hip, seat and cargo pockets and slightly tapered ankles to make it easier to tuck them into the jump boots. These jump suits were gradually phased out and replaced by the M43 uniforms, however, these remained popular and the choice of many serving in Airborne units through to the end of the WW2.
