   This original and extensively produced U. Army map of Tokyo and Tokyo Bay was printed in June of 1945 by the U. Army and is an incredible piece of World War II history and the surrender of the Japanese forces. This map was printed two months prior to both atomic bombings of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and August 9, 1945. The surrender of Imperial Japan was announced by Japanese Emperor Hirohito on August 15 and formally signed on September 2, 1945, bringing the hostilities of World War II to a close.    Here's an original WW2 airborne invasion flag. It measures approximately 5.50 x 3.75 inches. There are a couple small holes in the armband that give it a nice patina. Here is more information that the dealer from whom I acquired this flag years ago shared with me. This flag measures 5 1/2" X 3 3/4" (13.9 X 9.6 cm). It was originally 6" X 4" but silk will shrink some with age. This flag was never applied to a jacket. I got several boxes of these and other identification flags and armbands in the late 1970's.
