Original WW2 British Army Infantry Lifebelt D-Day Landings. This type of lifebelt was worn by British infantry who participated in the amphibious landing on D-Day during the Second World War. The belt was designed to provide some buoyancy to prevent soldiers from being pulled underwater by the weight of their equipment.
