This piece was desgined for attacks by aircraft flying below 1,000 feet (300 meters) in altitude. It combined componens of the Mark XIV bomb sight but with a new mechanical computer when first implemented. It featured a unique solution for timing the drop, projecting a moving display onto a reflector sight which matched the apparent motion of the target at the right instant. The jacket shows a good amount of wear and use, but nothing too bad. The jacket has a hand sewn Airborne Command 1 piece attached tab cut edge patch on the left shoulder.    From a collectors estate rare to find authentic U. Army - Navy WW2 5x5 Mark 1 (Japanese Zero version) target kite with original frame.... Very rare to have frame as they were shot up. Condition consistent with age and use with surface wear, bullet holes, repairs, splits and discoloration Ive tried my best to highlight in photographs.
