This is an original WW2 6th Corps, 100th Infantry Division Medic Ike Tunic for a technician 4th grade. This unit saw action in Sicily, Italy, France and Germany. Has the convex collar brass with US on one side and the medical collar brass on the other. Ribbon bar has American Campaign, European/African/Middle Eastern Campaign with one star and the WWII Victory Medal. Left Sleeve has 4 six-month bars and a 3-year service stripe and there is a Ruptured Duck patch over the right breast pocket. Tunic is dated May 1944. Labeled a mens size 36S. Modern equivalent to a men's US size Small Short. Spray painted rank patch on sleeves in place of actual fabric patches. Hand written names on the lining. Very nice, clean, unissued example of a pretty typical WWII German mid-late war Wehrmacht bread bag. It is maybe a little wrinkly and has a slight musty smell from many years of storage, but overall, it is a great example in otherwise great condition.
