   (J353) For sale here is a very rare pair of US WW2 Unit Marked Armored Triangle S Tanker Bibs. This is a nicely worn pair of bibs that have a black paint stenciled Armored Triangle over the letter S on the side of each leg. I have seen one other pair of these, and they turned up overseas. My guess is that the S is for Armored School. Otherwise, the bibs are pretty standard. They are made of dark khaki cotton fabric and are lined in OD wool. The Book goes up to September 6, 1944, and it was made overseas. Looking at the praises the 7th Armor received from French Mayors of liberated towns and cities the Division seemed to perform quite well.
