Original Wwii Army

This is an original US Army M43 M 1943 Military Olive Green Field Jacket from World War II (1939-45). The jacket is a great addition to any militaria collection and is a unique piece from the United States region of origin.   

   A US Army tunic jacket with a gorgeous China Burma India bullion patch on the upper left sleeve for a technician 4th grade. Also has a nice Meritorious Unit Commendation bullion patch on the lower right sleeve. US collar brass on both collars and a Ruptured Duck patch over the right breast pocket. Marked 37R on the inside with characters handwritten in red. They are hard to make out but I believe them to all be numbers and not a name so not sure if the information would be researchable. Original WWII US Army pt T-shirt Fort Sheridan Illinois. Nice shape with no damage, chest pit to pit 21 inches.   

Jacket measures approximately 17" armpit to armpit and approximately 32.5" length. Pants regular 30W x 34L. Note: uniform smells like moth balls and could stand to be aired out.

Field Mobile Hospital 2308, 2nd Division. Education 7 Classes, Russian born in 1924. Worked as a Lab assistant before the war. Joined the Army in January of 1943.
