   Available again today is a original, excellent, and very hard to find pre WWII era 1930's US Army M1937 Denim Popover Pullover work shirt. This shirt is in excellent condition other than one spot on the sleeve that has a few small spots of something white. I have not tried to clean this spot in any way. The cheese cloth tag is unreadable but it does have a faint ink stamp by the collar that I believe reads "21-57". This beautiful denim work shirt measures 22" from armpit to armpit, 23" from shoulder to end of sleeve, 19" from shoulder to shoulder, and 27" from base of collar to bottom ...

One of the examples which has been opened down the front and then re-closed which makes it look/fit a little bit off-kilter, i think it could be opened and re-sewn with a higher degree of accuracy but then I suppose this is part of its original charm.    For sale here is a 1939 Johns & Pegg overcoat. Its a strange one in that it seems to mix the classic greatcoat with a British warm in terms of style and materials. The outer fabric is a heavy but soft serge of the best quality and the linings are a mix of twill and sand wool blanket. A really superb and very unusual item. A 38 reg traditionally although you could call it a 40 with a light under layer.
